3. Cookies and Local Storage
Oogway does not use tracking cookies. The embedded widget uses browser local storage solely to maintain the widget's open/closed state across page navigations. No data is sent to third-party advertising or analytics platforms.
Our dashboard uses a session cookie strictly necessary for authentication. This cookie expires when you close your browser or log out.
4. AI Processing
To generate navigation guidance, Oogway sends the user’s guidance request and a redacted structural snapshot of the current customer interface to Anthropic, an external AI provider. Interface labels and surrounding page content may include customer or personal information even though form-field values are redacted by default.
Customers should not install the widget on pages where sharing visible interface content with an external AI provider is prohibited. Passwords, payment fields, uploaded files, and values typed into input, textarea, select, or editable controls are not intentionally captured.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Our MVP retention target for raw guidance sessions and their stored page snapshots is up to 12 months for session replay, support, and customer analytics. Retention cleanup may be performed manually during the MVP. Aggregated usage counts may be retained longer for billing and operational records. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at vyshnav@useoogway.com.
When you close your account, all personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
